Q: Why does the scanner software not recognise my properly attached SCSI scanner?A: If you're running the scanner with the SCSI interface you need to install the Adaptec's ASPI layer first as the manufacturer's drivers need them. Unfortunately they're not automatically installed with the scanner drivers. Take a look at our Drivers section to find out where to get the ASPI layer.

Q: We have version 4.3 of Fibreshape. I would like to know: Is there a later version of Fibreshape? .
Please check our release reporting: http://www.fibreshape.ch/news/releases.html#aRelease504.
The biggest step in the software versions was that to the 5.0 version with the following features:
- Release date: February 22, 2007
* Simplified work flow
You need just two clicks by the completely new developed GUI (graphic user interface) to get your result:
1. Get image
2. Get report
All settings and choices for a particular report are remembered now so that a report can be created with only one single click.
Configuring the report has been improved and simplified.
* Integrated on line help
The manual is now full integrated in the X-shape program.
Use the help key and it leads you to the manual and basic informations such as articles and presentations.
* Data base driven organization of measure masks
The measurement automation facility, the measure masks, are now stored in a data base
instead of regular files like with previous releases of Fibreshape.
A powerful categorization and description framework has been added to the masks in a way
that you are able to identify very easy and quickly the masks you need .
* Application development tool
A separated application development tool has been added in order to separate clearly
the daily measurement work from parameter development.
This new tool enables also to solve typical image analysis problems of microscopy.

2.) Load your image
3.) click on "Apply changes"
4.) click on "Run test measurement"
5.) open quality chart
6.) don't close the quality chart
- All subsequent measurements
1.) Load your image
2.) click on "Apply changes"
3.) click on "Run test measurement"
4.) After finishing of the measurement go to the already
open quality chart
5.) Go to the "Original Data" table
6.) paste with Ctrl + V the new measurement into the first empty
column line one
7.) Save the changes
